Study Tips For Weekly Vocabulary:
Your student is continually learning new words throughout their daily
life. There are about 5 to 6 words that they must know on a weekly basis in my class. As a parent, take a look at the Vocabulary
list for the week and YOU try to use one word at a time in a sentence while speaking within earshot of your
student around the house or in the car. See if your child can recognize that you've used one of their Vocabulary words for
the week (or last week..always good to review) and congratulate them on their recognition. If they see that YOU use
those words in real life situations, they will remember it even better! We don't want them simply to spit out answers weekly
on the test, not knowing these words in a real way.
